brass case trimmer

Hi everyone,
One of the tools I hadn't really gave much thought to was a case trimmer - like the Lee zip trimmer or any of the other trimming tools out there. For the bit of reading and research I have done so far, it seems like this is only really an issue with necked rifle rounds. Am I correct? Or will I need to be trimming my handgun brass as well?
I am mostly doing handgun loads, but in the event I need a trimmer, what would you guys recommend?

I've heard the Lee "zip trim" thing was a bit "wonkey" if you will.
For awhile, Lyman had a decent trimmer out there. You're probably not going to need one though for just reloading pistol ammo.

If you are looking for a high quality case trimmer, you probably want to get this:

Solid and will outlast you.

You can get the Hornady Cam Lock at Natchez for about $66. Its a quality trimmer.

I don't have much experience with Hornady, but isn't the Cam-Lock a bullet puller?
Does it somehow trim as well? I'm confused.

I agree...if you're going to reload pistol only, you probably won't need a case trimmer. In my experience, pistol cases are usually past their useful life by the time they need trimming. I use the Lee case trimmer (not the zip trim) on my cordless drill for my 308 and 223 loads. Not the fastest way, perhaps, but it does the job and it's hard to argue with the price.
