I was wondering what you guys used for case/die lubrication.

I was talking to a reloader at a gun show last week and he was saying that on his non-carbide dies he could get away with giving them a really nice dose of tri-flow lubricant into the die as opposed to lubing all the individual cases.

I wondered what you guys thought about that. I did recently pick up a can of tri flow, and have to say it is AMAZING in its lube properties. I'm not so sure how well it would work, but it may be worth a try on some old does I don't really use.

I've also heard of people using non-reloading branded lubes. What alternatives if any are you guys using?

Um,

Why?

Seems to me if you get a nice lube pad and do it like you're supposed to you won't have any issues.

Why would you want to mess with something? I use tri flow all the time on stuff. Best lubricant in the world. I use it on all my pistols, AR's, etc. Kicks the shit out of WD40. But that's not what it's meant for. I guess I'm the kind of guy who has enough headaches in life, I don't need to experiment around and cause a few more.

I've always used the dillon lubricant, never had a stuck case and I don't have to mess with a lube pad.
